Do you accept credit cards? To keep our prices affordable, we currently only accept cash or checks. What are days and hours of operation? We are available 7 days a week from morning to late evenings. We try to work around your busy schedule. Is there an extra fee for weekend or evening service? No. Our prices are the same any day of the week, mornings to evenings. We do not believe in penalizing our customers for leading normal lives. Do you offer same day service for furniture assembly? We try, but many times it is not possible. Same day service depends on the time of day you call, our work load for the day and where you are located. Do you have a minimum service charge? We charge a minimum of $50.00. Exceptions can be made depending on your service location What is the best way to get a quote from Tekbuild? Email a list of items you have or call with the exact items. We need the name or part number of the item and where it was purchased from to give an accurate quote. Assembly varies between models, retailers and manufactureres. Without the item number or name, we can not give a quote or schedule your service. What is your service area? We serve the general Tampabay area of Tampa, Clearwater, Saint Petersburg, and surrounding communities. We offer a 50 mile service radius from our office for most jobs. Arrangements can be made for further distances depending on your assembly and installation needs. Trip fee may apply beyond 25 miles. What do I do with all the cumbersome boxes after you assemble and install? We take all trash generated from your assembly and install. When we leave, you have a room full of new furniture or a new kitchen, not a pile of boxes and trash awaiting disposal. Are you a green company? We drop all cardboard at a facility for recycling, our truck is a compact with a 4 cylinder engine for fuel efficiency, and we prefer eco-friendy emails over facimiles. Do you offer delivery? While we are not set up as a delivery company, weather and schedule permitting, we can pick up limited items for a nominal fee and bring them at the time of your assembly. Our small truck is not covered and weather plays a huge role in our ability to provide delivery. Do you disassemble furniture as well as assemble? Yes. We can disassemble furniture if you are moving or just painting and remodeling. We can not offer any warranty on re-assembled furniture. Disassembling and reassembling furniture weakens the holding ability of the fasteners and the overall integrity of the furniture. What is your warranty? We offer a 1 year workmanship warranty on assembly and 90 days workmanship warranty on door alignment. Abuse or mishandling are not covered. Furniture must not have been moved for door alignment warranty. | ||
