Hi Jamie at TekBuild,
Thank you so much for your helpful advice on my Ikea furniture! I was very worried that I had assembled the piece incorrectly and you took the time to listen to my awkward description and figure out that what I had done would still work and be fine. You even correctly identified the small parts for me so that I can now ask for extra Cam Screws and Cam Locks at my Ikea store...your the best :)

Not only did Jamie answer the phone, he provided a quote right away. They were incredibly friendly, professional and they did a phenomenal job with all of our furniture. In one day, they managed to assemble a bedroom set, dining room table & sideboard, Besta wall unit, bathroom cabinets and a storage system for our daughter's room. From the initial phone call, to suggesting what to do, following my instructions on the installation and lighting, the prompt arrival, working late and doing beautiful work. I thought this project was going to be a nightmare and instead you guys made it a dream come true. As you well know my kitchen is now beautiful, the laundry room is now functional with the old kitchen cabinets expertly reinstalled. I did things backwards by having a marble floor installed before you guys showed up. You kept everything covered, cleaned up as you went along and finished the entire job in an amazing three very long days. "My husband and I recently moved to the Channelside District in Tampa and we purchased a few items of furniture that needed to be assembled. Instead of purchasing a bunch of tools and spending hours looking at manuals of how to assemble, I found Jamie McDaniels, the owner of TekBuild, through a yahoo search and he came to our condo for an entire day. He put together our Bjursta Sideboard from Ikea and our Sloane Media Stand from Crate & Barrel. In addition to hanging a wall candle holder (also from Crate and Barrel), he also hung 3 mirrors and 14 picture frames for us - all items that would have taken me days to if I had done them myself. Everyone who comes to our place compliments the 'picture wall' and I credit Jamie entirely for the way it is arranged! He brought his own blanket to lay down all of his tools on as he assembled the furniture, which I thought was so considerate since I have new hardwood floors. As he worked, he dusted and swept the areas
where he had just placed the new furniture, which I also loved. He took all of the boxes and packaging materials away as well, so when my husband came home from work that day, our home was in perfect shape. TekBuild is a company that I recommend to anyone who is interested in having a stress-free move-in experience when furniture assembly is involved - the price was very reasonable and it was so worth it to have our furniture assembled perfectly the first time, and Jamie's expertise and great attitude made this entire experience a relaxing one!"

My husband and I are rehabbing an older home that was an abandoned bank foreclosure. With everything else we had to do, we did not have time to do the kitchen ourselves. And we chose Ikea b/c the cabinet sizes and flexibility worked best for our kitchen. We had Tek Build do our entire install and we could not be happier. Although the ikea process is pretty straightforward, we made a lot of mistakes. Jamie was extremely patient with us and even met me up at ikea on his own time to go over my options and why some choices may have been better suited to my needs than others. He easily spent two hours with me that day helping me chose the kitchen that would work best for us. (I wish I had involved him in our planning stages as it would've saved me time and money, but I did not find him until after I had made many purchases.) When it was finally time to install, he and Brett were professional and thorough but also fast. They installed an entire kitchen in about three days. They did a FANTASTIC job. As I said, our home is older and the floors, walls, etc were not straight or level, but they did not let these issues stop them from making it look fantastic. And, they know the ikea products inside and out. If I would call them from ikea they could rattle off the item number that I needed, which helped tremendously. For the amount of time and effor they put into this project, I honestly think their prices are extremely reasonable. And at the end, they deducted for work that we thought was necessary but wasn't - although I would've gladly paid them the quoted price. They itemized everything. There were no suprises. They did exactly what they said that they would. It was such a help to not have to worry about the kitchen. I know that it was done right. These guys are professional and courteous. They were always on time and they would also call to confirm and make sure that it was still OK for them to work that day. I could not have asked for a better experience. In this rehab, not every craftsman that we have worked with have provided a good experience, but I must tell you that Tek Build HUGELY exceded each and every expectation that I had. It was a great experience. I love my kitchen. They are great at what they do and are a pleasure to deal with. When it comes time to get new furniture (and I hope that day is close) I will not hesitate to use them again. Where I live (in Florida) customer service and pride in a person's business and work is often seriously lacking. If you know what I mean by this, you will be most pleasantly suprised by these guys. They are awesome.

I was very impressed with Tekbuild, I used them to install a Besta wall unit in my Florida Room for my TV, Books, & Storage.
I found them professional and trustworthy. They answered all my questions, told me what units I would need, quoted a price, along with a timeframe.
I was happy with their quality of work. They were neat, and paid attention to detail.
I am a retired widow living in Clearwater,and I would highly recommend them, and use them again.
